Your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SeINWorks collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account info: name, email, password (hashed), role (worker, employer, recruiter), and territory.
- Profile info: avatar, skills, experience, hourly rate, certifications, resume, service entrance story, company name, industry, location.
- Verification documents: government ID, business license/EIN documentation, certification copies, phone number.
- Content: shifts, jobs, applications, messages, posts, stories, hospitality wins, and group activity.
- Payment info: processed by third-party payment partners; we do not store card numbers.
Information we collect automatically
- Device and browser information (IP address, user agent, language).
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps).
- Cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- Verify your identity and prevent fraud, abuse, and prohibited use.
- Match workers with shifts, jobs, and employers — including AI-driven recommendations.
- Process payments and disburse recruiter commissions.
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, application updates, new messages).
- Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:
- With other users: profile info, application content, and messages are visible to relevant counterparties (e.g., an employer sees a worker's profile when they apply).
- Service providers: hosting (cloud infrastructure), email delivery (Resend), payment processing, identity verification, analytics, and AI matching providers (Anthropic via Emergent integrations).
- Legal & safety: when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety of users, the public, or Inkosi LLC.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for as long as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Verification documents are retained for the duration of your account plus any retention period required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see Section 6).
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted database connections, HTTPS, bcrypt password hashing, JWT-based session tokens, and limited internal access. No system is 100% secure; you should also protect your account by using a strong unique password and notifying us of any unauthorized access.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent.

7. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. or in any country where Inkosi LLC or its service providers operate.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Marketing Communications
We may send you product updates, newsletters, and promotional emails. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. We will continue to send transactional emails (e.g., verification, password reset, application updates) as part of the Service.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance.
